Six Bleach poems in which the characters speak of each other.
Vol. 27 & Vol 40: The beginning and end of the Arrancar arc.
Vol. 49 & Vol 54: The beginning and end of the Fullbring arc.
Vol 46 & Vol 47: In which Gin’s poem is in Rangiku’s volume, and hers in his.How does this say UlquiHime and IchiRuki???? WUT DID I JUST READ??? SRSLY.
but did not question how it say GinRan. SRSLY THO. SRSLY.
Spell it out shall I?
The volume 27 poem is speaking about Ulquiorra because Kubo specified so in a interview where he said that he decided that Ulquiorra’s number tatoo would be over his heart.
The volume 40 poem is speaking about Orihime because the pronoun used is “omae”. The only person Ulquiorra has ever referred to as “omae” is Orihime.
The volume 49 poem is speaking about Rukia because 1. She has just disappeared from his life. 2. It uses the pronouns “boku” and “kimi” which means it can only be human to human, so not about his powers. And Japanese folk who originally speak Japanese have already said it’d sound incredibly yaoi if Ichigo were talking about Zangetsu. In fact, I remember long ago when this came out in BleachAsylum and even professional translators who gave no shits about IchiRuki said it was logically about her.
The volume 54 poem is speaking about Ichigo because it’s in the same volume where Rukia thinks about how Ichigo changed the Soul Society and how he never changed. Unchanging heart/unchanging person. Make the connection.
But why should anyone who is anti-IchiRuki/anti-UlquiHime care? Volume poems aren’t even canon, right? At least, that’s what I’ve seen people on that side of fandom say
when the poem means something for a rival pairing. But acomplexmix is right. Somehow we aren’t questioning the GinRan poems. Yet even when Kubo-sensei himself specifies who Orihime’s poem is addressing, nothing makes sense?
First of all,
Also, I believe that there’s really a limit between interpretation and simply denying facts, because they don’t fit your own biased beliefs.
And where, in the original source, the blogger has stated this was shippy? It only says “Six Bleach poems in which the characters speak of each other”, and not “Six Bleach poems in which the characters speak how much they are DTF”. Personally, as an Ichiruki, Ulquihime and Ginran shipper, I see it as one. But no one is obliged to agree with other people opinions. So, honestly, ship and let ship, have your own opinions. But, please, don’t bash other shippers canon material/interpretations/beliefs because you don’t have enough security in yours, while you’re at it.
